CAT-1 Car Window Tint Technology has advanced

Unlike other tinting companies we will no longer be offering standard tints! Why you may ask?

Our customer’s demand only the best the best materials be used, so that’s why we taken the decision to elevate our whole window tint range to the highest technical specification currently available, so that we now only offer the Cat1 Platinum Standard window tinting film.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How much will it cost to tint a vehicle?

Our prices start from as little as £80.

2. What quality of materials are used?

Most cheap installations use a inferior quality film that is so thin, that the liner used on the film is thicker then the film itself! Budget quality films have a manufacturer life expectancy of 3-4 years before the colour will begin to fade or the film will begin to peel, OR the whole thing fails altogether.

Using colour stable film matched with our superior industry standard adhesive will make your vehicle stand out from the rest, from the time of completion, until the car has reached its end of life.

3. What kind of Workmanship Can I expect?

Over the last 20 years, we have been offering a quality fitting service which fully complements the industry standard, Security Grade film that we use. We’ve never understood how some companies claim they can complete the front & rear of a car within two hours. After looking at some of the horror jobs we’ve had to correct for customers, it’s become apparent that some car window tint fitters will apply the film just off edge, so they don’t have to strip the interior panels, which means there’s a visible gap around the edge of the glass!

It will take longer than 2 hours just to strip the door & rear parcel shelf panels back so that the tint completely covers your whole glass, with no gaps at the edges, but we do this as standard. This is the guaranteed standard of quality workmanship & materials you can expect from Cat1 Automotive every time, & is the reason we are the car window tinting company of choice for Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Land Rover, Aston Martin main dealers & most quality independent dealers in Manchester & the North-West of England.

4. How long does a full car take to tint?

We prefer to have a car for a day, so we can give it our full loving care & attention. However it doesn’t take us a day to complete the average project, but having a full working day gives us all the wriggle room we need.

Why Choose Cat1 Automotive for Car Window Tints?

We have listened to our customers and now only offer Security Tinted film rather than just standard window tints. Customers have their windows tinted to enhance the look of their vehicle. But we now take our service one step further by offering Security Film as standard which also provides our customers a whole new level of added protection.

If a thief smashes your window they will find it difficult to break into the vehicle, as the thicker quality tint film with security adhesive will hold the glass in place. In the event of an accident, should your windows smash, you can rest assured that the glass won’t come flying into the vehicle, and injure the occupants.

In these health conscious days, it’s comforting to know that our specialised film also has best in class properties for UV Ray reduction and heat reflection which will protect you from the sun & keep you cooler in warm weather. We have 3 shades to choose from, 50%, 35%, 20% and clear for the front windows, which will enhance your vehicle and secure it at the same time. This is the three step advantage of having your windows Cat1 Automotive Security Tinted.

We aren’t the cheapest, but we are far from being the most expensive. However one thing we can confidently say is that you won’t find better value for money, craftsmanship & service anywhere. So look after you car, & in turn it will look after you & your passengers.
